Rancho Cucamonga, CA – November 15, 2022 – The NLBWA IE celebrates another outstanding Latina BizCon™ this past October 27, 2022. This year’s focus, ‘Embracing the Digital Future – Together,’ was a great success! The in-person conference drew over 225 attendees, including Latina, Women of Color, and Minority/Small Businesses of the Inland Empire.

The personalized matchmaking meetings provided entrepreneurs with future contracting opportunities with corporations, government agencies, and public utilities. Fifty vendors met with 13 Corporate Buyers, resulting in 103 procurement matchmaking (1:1) sessions.

In partnership with the DGS, CPUC, and the Supplier ClearingHouse, delivered exceptional real-time personalized technical assistance in completing certification applications to over 70 Latina, Women of Color, and Minority/Small Businesses in the Inland Empire. Also, 35 individuals had signed up for the Micro-MBA Academy by the night’s end.

The NLBWA-IE is enormously grateful for the support of its Sponsors, Partners, Community Leaders, Staff, and Volunteers, who are committed to strengthening the Inland Empire community. The 2022 Latina BizCon could not have been fruitful without their generosity.

The NLBWA IE is incredibly grateful to Mr. Paul S. Leon, the Ontario City Mayor, for leading the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance and welcoming NLBWA-IE guests and to the keynote speakers, Anna Lasso, Director of California Department of General Services and Gioia Messinger, Founder, and Principal of LinkedObjects. The NLBWA IE expresses gratitude to Southern California Gas, Southern California Edison, and the Department of General Services for inviting your Prime Contractors.
